Partners in Crime is thrilled to welcome USA Today bestselling novelist Aaron Philip Clark to our April meeting. In addition to his work as a novelist, Aaron is an accomplished screenwriter, professor, and host of The Culture Point Podcast. He has collaborated on novels with entertainment mogul Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and renowned civil rights attorney Ben L. Crump. His latest novel, The Bluest Night, is the third installment in his award-winning Trevor Finnegan series, with the fourth, Blues for the Dead, scheduled for release in 2027.

Aaron will discuss the inspiration behind The Bluest Night and share how he balances writing his own fiction while collaborating on co-authored works. He’ll also introduce his upcoming psychological thriller series.

Here is the zoom link for the meeting. Although we hope you will attend in person, this is a hybrid meeting.  To attend remotely, please register here.

  • Jessica Watts has one rule. Nobody gets away with murder.

When her friend is abducted and abandoned in the desert by self-proclaimed "alpha males," the case becomes personal. But as she digs deeper, Jessica discovers those responsible are connected to an unsolved case that's haunted her—the murder of two families whose daughters she barely saved from traffickers.

    She's ready this time.

Jessica has pushed her body and instincts to their limits. But "ready" means nothing when the enemy includes corrupt sheriffs and El Paso power brokers who've perfected the art of making problems disappear. To bring them down, Jessica must understand that strength isn't just physical—it's having something worth fighting for beyond revenge.

Will Jessica finally connect the murders to the men behind them,or will she become another woman they silence forever?
